So, feed me then.
And my knees are weak
And my mouth can't speak
Fell too far this time
- Sugababes' "Too Lost In You"
A friend asked me the other day
"What do you get out of sympathy?"
It did forced me to stop and think.
I know that begging for sympathy is rather a foolish thing to do. Sympathy is best given sincerely. Not solicited from.
However, I do think that sympathy, in the right capacity would, if taken positively, generate a feel-good feeling. A sort of warmth that rushes through you, from knowing that someone out there is concerned, and cares. And actually, bothers listening to you.
I think that could be the one of the best drug in the world. Shot up in the right dosage, a person would be filled with such euphoria, that he or she will be able to pick up the pieces of his or her own broken jigsaw puzzle of life, and move on.
And it is my belief that at the very core of it all, it all boils down to, stripped to the very bare - how we feel.
If we feel good about ourselves, we feel as if we can conquer the world, kan?
And does not all greatness come from the power of your mind?
