The trouble with love is It can tear you up inside Make your heart believe a lie It's stronger than your pride The trouble with love is It doesn't care how fast you fall And you can't refuse the call See, you got no say at all
- Kelly Clarkson's "The Trouble With Love Is" -
Did anyone watch CSI Vegas a few days ago? The one where Grissom starts to pack in order to leave for his sabbatical? The one where he went up to Sara and tell her he’s gonna miss her?
Isn’t that just one of the most romantic moment in television or what???!!!!!!
Pardonnez moi, but I’ve not watched CSI properly ever since I got back from the UK. And that would make it 3 years. Blame it on the remote tug of war that my mom and I enjoy every day *she’s pretty strong for her age y’know, and besides, she did bear me for 9 excruciating months, so yeah, sometimes I let her win*. So, if that makes me seem like I came from the boondocks, well, so be it. And so what if that’s an outdated episode *is it?* I still think it’s romantic *sticks tongue out*.
Nerrs, I love, love, loooooveee Love Actually too! Alan Rickman is soo sexy haha! And that Hugh Grant is just too comel there too! I wish I have the DVD copy tho (along with You’ve Got Mail) but then I’d be watching it back to back on a weekly basis, and surely that’s not very good for my health kan?
Speaking of health, I’m currently embarking on another one of my everlasting quest for the perfect waistline. It has been 5 days and counting, no rice whatsoever, but carbo in other form is still there. I’m aiming for 21 days. Again, too ambitious?
This is ONE of the driving factor for this expedition THIS TIME;
My gorgeous cousin (that's you, Pn. Tina Ninja) got married a few months back, and when I look at her wedding photos, I was pretty convinced that that’s not gonna happen to me anytime this DECADE. What? I’d have to look like THAT *super duper gorgeous btw* to get married?!! And I’ve got to have my clavicle in a straight line before I can even dare to touch a lace and satin combo of a baju pengantin?? You've GOT to be kidding me. Can lembu korban fly???
Btw, where is my clavicle anyway? If anyone found them, tell them to ring home because I’ve been looking for them for YEARS and how dare they leave their momma like that? Bad, bad clavicle!
*gulps*
So, let’s buckle down and tackle this weight thing once and for all *syyeah, right, that’s something we’ve not heard yet*. Maybe I should reread my AJ Rochester *the one where she lost something equivalent to, like, a house of weight* book again. The last time I read that was in 2004 and my weight at that time was at its lowest ever *for as long as I can remember!*. So, yeah, she might be of an inspiration.
On another note...
The other day, I saw him coming down the corridor. My insides turned to jelly and I continued to study the floor as I walked towards him. I wasn’t sure if he noticed me until he puts out his left hand into my vision and I looked up.
“Kenapa awak tenung lantai tu?” lantas tersenyum.
I mumbled an incoherent reply while a few ladies walked in between us. He smiled, I smiled, he waved, and I walked away with the chorus of the whole wide world singing for me.
And, since tis the season to be jolly and all, terimalah, one of my favourite clips from one of my all-time favourite movies. Tis corny, but hey, I think sometimes the world needs a dose of corniness.
Happy Christmas everyone :)
p/s: Even though my encounters with si Dia will amount to nothing, he is still the best thing that is happening to me right now. Because right now, no one else can make me feel as happy as I am when I’m with him.

Dusting off my sawangs
You and me together Through the days and nights I don't worry 'cause Everything's going to be alright People keep talking they can say what they like But all i know is everything's going to be alright
No one, no one, no one Can get in the way of what I'm feeling No one, no one, no one Can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you Can get in the way of what I feel for you
- Alicia Keys' "No One" -
I'm beginning to fall in love with this song. I actually thought the singer was Anita Baker haha! Well, the chorus sounds like something Anita Baker might sing, err, but not how she might sound la. I looooveee this song already!
I find that potential entries to the blog only creep in when I’m snugly encased in my super fluffy comforter. Bah. I should place a notebook by the side of my bed then huh?
Let’s be a camwhore instead.
So I've been eating a lot lately...
Mmmm, Fererro Rocher...
Succulent strawberries...
Yummy spaghetti...
Sinful chocolate tarts...
Then, kononnya, I tried to be healthy with Secret Recipe's Japanese Soba...
But slowly, the mind bends with desire, starting with those traditional but equally evil kuih kocis....
Then, the bangang strudels which surprisingly turned out to be quite delish...
And now look what I'm having for brekkie: The evil yet innocent looking but nevertheless scrumpdoddleicious bun with butter! agghhh!!!
Every single time i try to walk pass the jolly Chinese uncle selling his wares, I find that I'm drawn back to him. Think the uncle got put ganja into his roti butter aa?
Hence, the need for the long-abandoned Jazzercise sessions. *sigh* Say it with me: Pain is food. Eh, i mean, Pain is GOOD.
Look at all those people working hard, while i sit on my bum taking pictures of their bums hehe...
Presenting Intan, Director of Studio W in Kota Damansara, Jazzercise Extraordinaire, Extreme Go-Getter and Slave Driver all rolled into one cute package. She's tough y'all, but she's prolly the only one who can get me to torture myself, voluntarily! Look at her, hard at work, all the while thinking about the cold sirap manis waiting for her downstairs in the Homst restaurant hehe...
So, I'm back Jazzercising after almost half a year break. Twas due anyway, the tummy, the love handle, the works..needs work! Coupled that with the impending task of carrying a cousin's hantaran dulang in January, yeah, no pressure there indeed!
Then I decided to get a haircut. Soonish. I was planning to let it grow till it touches my toes or something, but i'm getting increasingly rimas. Plus the cute clip that I bought after months of searching for it broke after an event I help handled. The clip was crucial to keeping my crazy-has-a-life-of-its-own hair tame. Now that it's gone, I guess this mane will have to go. I'm thinking a short bob ala Coralie Charriol:
She's the gorgeous one in purple. And she's pregnant. She must be, because this lady is gorgeous. Plus she's a brand ambasadress for her dad's brand, how can she be fat?! So okay, we ALL know I don't have bouncy blonde hair, but work with me here please. I'm thinking a short curly bob *when I say curly, it actually means that my current hair state is that; and not I'm-planning-to-subject-myself-to-torture-of-curling-my-already-tangled hair curly*. Whaddya think? Too ambitious?
Oh what the hell, here, have another picture I took after an event in Putrajaya:
For fun's sake :p
p/s: Cliché but bumping into si Dia this morning just makes the world shine a little brighter today. Lalalalalala...*skips off*

Ignorance is bliss. Ku impikan bintang jatuh ke bumi menyinari awan yang berat hujan dalam kegelapan malam bintang membawa harapan sinaran cinta kita
belai lah daku dalam dakapan mu semaikan ku dalam mimpi-mimpi mu
- Sean Ghazi’s “Ku Impikan Bintang” -
There is a bar cum resto cum lounge cum club which has just opened across the road from where I work. I’m thinking after work drinks ala Ally Mcbeal. Except I don’t drink after works, and my colleagues aren’t likely to be belting out songs with the resident pianist. *sigh* One can only wish.
The other day, a friend defended my dignity when a couple of unidentified losers made derogatory comments about my physique. Specifically, the abundance of mammary. People who know me will know that I’m blessed with such ‘wealth” and that nowadays, I couldn’t give a rat’s ass about people being obsessed about it, although I do worry sometimes about it whenever I’m standing in the midst of the Brickfields bus-waiting crowd. Nevertheless, I’m amazed *and somewhat grateful* that she did that. I wonder if I would be able to do the same for her. I wonder if I can be as loyal and staunch as that.
Sometimes when I look at all these older people or senior bosses, I can’t help but think that they’re all clueless like us. What differentiates them from us is the wisdom and extended age of countless mistakes that they have personally made that turns them from clueless beings like me to one whom I respect.
I’m feeling very, very restless. Like I think I need to do more with my life than mooching about after work watching TV with the mom. Then again, something tells me to just hang on for a bit now, enjoy the speed my life seems to be stuck on now, which is MUNDANE, before things pick up. Perhaps in the new year? I really, really hope that something exciting is around the corner.
Else I might just have to create one of my own.
