It was a teary eyed goodbye..

The night seems to fade,
But the moonlight lingers on,
There are wonders for everyone
The stars shine so bright,
But they're fading after dawn,
There is magic in Kingston Town..

The Golden Girls finally went home on Wednesday, leaving me not only pondering on my enormous task of completing my dissertation, but also leaving with extra bagages! in short, we spent almost an hour sorting out their luggages at Heathrow as they were too heavy, and finally, they managed to cart everything back home..oh yeah, they also, between them, shared a box to ship back home...nie sumer gara2 penangan carboot sale that we went to at MArksgate, 2 weeks ago..not to mention various things that they managed to acquire from just about everywhere...btw, the carboot there is enormous! we managed to amassed quite a number of stuff, siap kena balik dengan kotak lagi hehehe...

we went to Ireland for a 3-day trip last week, where we stayed at a Malaysian Embassy officer's place in Dublin...Dina, Uncle MAhzan, and their 2 adorable kids, Ameera and Hakim were wonderful people, who provided us with the most comfortable accomodations ie. beds yang sangat empuk, scrumptious meals ie nasi lemak when my mom was about craving them, and were the best guides, although we were mostly on our own...we rented a car, at a very cheap rate for 3 days, and went roaming around the Irish countryside on the second day..the first day was spent looking for Glendalough and the Powerscourt Gardens just outside Dublin, with the ickle Ameera as our tour guide..we managed to cover quite a bit of the western countryside..we reached Galway, Salthill, and the wonderous Cliffs of Moher...the best part was, the countryside was literally sprinkled with B&B, all in shapes of the cutest cottages, and sheeps and cows! hehehe...it was fun, although very, very tiring...the last day in Ireland was spent in Dublin, where i actually managed to meet with an ex-Unitenian, not intentionally...Nonz and Ferr, i met Yasmin!! i was just standing outside some shops, when i saw a very familiar face in the crowd..it was her and Ain Zara'taj...so, chatted for a bit....Dina was luvverly, as she's so bubbly and kept us amused with her chatters...we also met up with other Malaysian, Iskandar and Intan..and visited the new Malaysian embassy office in Ireland..

back in London, it was jalan, jalan, jalan all the way till their last day in London...sheesh, i was soo penat, that at one point, all i wanted to do was fall asleep on the floor kat Marks & Sparks Marble Arch..but, something saved me from doing just that..a lunch meeting on Saturday with The Idlan, The Lin and The Anuar..needless to say, i was more than refreshed after that :) bile lagi nak kluar ramai2 lagi? jom laa! ehhehe...

It was a great break, and it was indeed a teary-eyed goodbye for me...my mom was like, a few more months, a few more months as i salam-ed her before she departed..but knowing me, hehe, overactive tearducts, imagination and emotion :p

after they left, i checked my results and alhamdulillah, it was fine :) so, celebrated with a 10-hour excursion :p nasib baik masih sales...and on Saturday, made it *finally* to Kelab Melayu, and today... met with Firman and friends from Leicester, and went over to Coura's for a small birthday party...and the best part was: unexpectedly meeting Tracy from Sri Aman at Leicester Square, after yonks! heheheh..i even managed to snap a pic with her! she looks really good, and is much sweeter now..unfortunately, ayat yang tak boleh dilupakan " after i broke up with Ayesha..." hehehhe....well, it's nice to see that she turns out a-ok :) finished her masters recently at Nottingham, and is accepting a job at Leeds..she's also with someone new right now, and yes, those rumours about her getting married is true, but she split up... she was amazed that THAT got around..haha! biaselaa..sensational stories :p

and to top off a nice tiring day, got an sms message from an ex-Amanian friend in Ireland, whom i thought would never regard me as much, saying its been a while and we should catch up :) sebelum nie, was a little bit segan to contact her, but its nice to know that she still remembers me :)

it has been good, it has been nice...cannot update banyak2 already, too much food in tummy, cannot think properly dah..besides, am gonna see what this KL Menjerit is all about...

daa....

sometimes you go through life wondering, have your presence brought any impact at all on the people you surround yourself with? then you get all those messages asking when ur coming back, or can't wait for u to come back so that we can have dinner, or just plain i miss you...then you know that it has, even if its a smidgen...if anything, it prolly has served as a tiny ray of light to shine your bed as u lie down smiling like a silly fool all to yourself before dozing off...
