Coming up for air...
Kau hancurkan diriku
bila kau tinggalkan aku
kau Dewiku
kembalilah padaku
bawa separuh nafasku
kau Dewiku
- Dewa's "Separuh Nafas" -
I have just realised that this is one of Dewa's greatest songs..imho...anyhoo, i've downloaded the videoclip, and not a day passes by that i do not view it...*sigh*..soo best!! masyoo, dimanakah dikau, rakan peminat Dewaku?? hehhehehe...

Faren: goggles weren't all lost...well, at least, next time i wanna imagine that i'm diving with lotsa fish under the sea, i can just put them on, and press my nose against an aquarium..hehehhe...
Izwan & DocTJ: *grins* skin baru menyambut ulang tahun!
Adit: Yups, am busy as the PA to the Queen Bee..and yes, i do not know what parlays mean.. :p a bit the malas to reach out for the dictionary..and i have the nagging feeling that it's not the same as parlez....hehehehhe
Huda: Doll! thanks for the outing! ur hubby's hilarious! and thanks for the well-wishes!
Aptie: yer, apparently, saya parlays *looks around wonderingly*
and the one that i save for last, and hope they read this cuz i just feel like shouting this out to them in the middle of the night..but i can't..not anymore...*sigh*...
Nonz, Ferr, Nieza, Elly: I MISS U GUYS LOADSA, LOADSA, LOADS!!!!! and ferr, i seriously, honestly, miss all those chats (nonsensical or otherwise) over sambal ikan keli (ikan limoi *winks*), over nasi makcik hulu langat, over perantau's sambal belacan, over kame's (kamilsss) maggi goreng, over kito's nasi goreng ayam (yang tak pernah ade!), and over many other things that i soooooo sorely missed...and guys, the other day, i was just thinking, and you know which memory came out soo brilliantly? remember whenever we used to hang out at the coe food court, and pico's gang would arrive one by one? and pico would bring up the rear? and i would go all keras...*haha*.. *sigh* i dunno why, but i miss those days... and remember how we would imitate how each other ate? nonz, with her eyes, head and body *swinging*, looking left and right? and kamar, how you would lift up the spoon but never the fork to your mouth? sorry for bringing this up, but it's hitting me hard here....
other than that..it was a busy week...assignments wise, i got one done, of course, in the nick of time *rolls eyes*...insya-Allah, it'll be allright..so i have 2 more to go,and a final paper...enough about that...soo, met up with Rey and her mom on tuesday at Selfridges, and had dinner later at Nahar with Huda and her hubby..where we chatted the night away...and on thursday, after handing in my assignment (about 45 minutes before the office closes), i raced to Oxford St, to check out Debenham's one-day sale, but soo tak menarik..met up with Rey and her mom again, continued our chats...
Friday morning, went to Walthamstow, got Eileen's phone unlocked (she bought a phone when she was here, but it was locked to the Vodafone network), then went to meet Rey and her mom (again) at Covent Garden...helped them check into their hotel, then jalan2-ed at Bond St...then i rushed off to pick up my dentist's daughter, Kak Moonie, at Heathrow..she's staying for 2 nights before meeting up with her friends...went home to a lovely dinner of tomyam, daging masak merah, and telur dadar...
Saturday was spent walking from Tottenham Court Rd (my sister kirim-ed something..i tell you, as long as i'm not back in msia, she'll keep on kirim-ing stuff)..walked all the way down to Regent St, then Leicester Sq, where Kak Moonie melepaskan gian for fish and chips..she had them at the park, and we just sat there enjoying the weather..it was sunny, and i regretted taking along my jacket, sebab panas..later, we went to have sushi (first for me) at Yo Sushi, where there was a conveyor belt..i know, i know, i'm soo kuno..anyhoo, as we were eating, i was staring at the rows of sliced raw fish (sashimi?) that they were preparing, thinking, errr, what's the tiny black things on top of the fish? cam ade disease je...anyhoo, the indian guy who was preparing the sashimi, saw me staring, and asked me if i wanted some..i just smiled back, and he told me to give him my plate, and he placed about 8 small pieces on it...how nice! and it was delicious! KAk Moonie was like, habis laa u, die dah mandrem kan u ngan sushi die...haha! later we metthis witty and sarcastic dude, with really big eyes :p for coffee at Starbucks Leicester Sq...it was fun, dude! he found out that he could be related to Kak Moonie, and they spent about half an hour trying to figure out where they might have met before, it was hilarious! btw, thanks for the hotel info! we owe you one! went into one of the Charing Cross bookstores, then he had to go off, so off we went home as well...pancit giler..but not before watching my yummy Horatio...
and today, just when i wanted to start on my assignment *yeah, right!*, i suddenly remembered that a friend of ours, Kak Nik,whom i had met earlier at Atirah's open house, a PhD student at King's College, invited us over for a nasi ayam lunch..how can i pass that one up?? so, after sending Kak Moonie to the wagn station, i rushed home, had a scrumplicious breakfast of nasi lemak, got ready, called up Rey who was already at HEathrow, waiting to fly home, then went off..stopped along the way to buy grapes for buah tangan...and called Kak Amni (yer, saya call kakak awak Aptie, and noo, it was not for kiriming anything back home :p )...talked for a bit...i got off at Angel, and took the tube to Clapham North, where KAk Nik's staying, and waited for Athirah...it was really hot, that i needed to buy a bottle of water to quench my thirst...jumpa Athirah, went to Kak Nik's really cute and cozy house..and proceeded to stuff our faces with NAsi ayam....kenyang giler...and there was pengat pisang that followed..man, i could hardly lift my butt off the seat..we chatted the afternoon away..Ainor joined us later, as she had to come from Heathrow (long story)..at about 4.30 p.m., we left..but not before taking pictures in front of the house, with the dustbin in plain view :p had an enjoyable but panas ride on the bus from Victoria back home...and plonked myself in front of the OC...
got more things to tell, but gotta do other stuff as well...gah...well, that was me coming up for air....
"...and she plunges back into the darkness, the murky waters rippling with her weary movements..."
