After the 3-day holiday..
I've waited weeks for your call
I've waited here by the phone
But when the silence grew long
I knew that something was wrong
Right then I knew it babe
How could you do it babe
How could you tear my poor heart in two
- KCi & Jojo's "HOw Could You" -
Ferr, that song above was what we sang all those nights, after eating that Pakcik's nasi lemak (and that's after a full dinner too!) , during the first sem...was that the song u were looking for? hehehe...btw, go dengar KCi & Jojo's "How Long Must I Cry"...best, best!
and i'm back after a 3 day weekend..Monday was a Bank Holiday for us, and my roomie and i dawdled the day away..but *finger in the air triumphantly* went jogging in the evening! well, that was a first for me: voluntarily jogging my butt away in the park in front of our house..sempat make a pit stop to play the swings for about 5 minutes...it was a 1/2 hour workout, but it got us perspiring..not sweating buckets tho....have not sweated buckets since...hmm, since when aa? sheesh, reflects how "fit" and "athletic" you are, my dear....
its sort of a part of our get-fit-and-broomstick-thin programme...try to get some exercise everyday and eat low-fat food, and more vegetables...all of which have been and will always be a challenge for me..but...i must persist! i MUST gain my ideal weight, by hook or by crook!
other than that, was just another nice weekend..Friday morning was spent by moi, booking tickets to Spain, and looking up info..btw, insya-Allah, i''ll be making my way to Spain on the 20th..was a last minute thing, as my dentist's daughter is coming to the UK, and wanted to squat at my place...she's making a short trip to Spain to attend a friend's wedding and invited me to come along..hell, yeah! besides, i'll be done with finals and deadlines by then, so it'd be a nice way to relax *cheeky grin* ..but, we're gonna be travelling as sengkek as possible, therefore, i guess i'll be doing the youth hostels thing...we'll be going to Valladolid, Vitoria, Madrid, insya-Allah....
and my dear friend, Rey, is coming here with her mom this weekend! yay! so, i need to get all my work done by then *rolls yes, boleh ke nie??* so i can lepak2 with her...woohoo!
Saturday morning, we went grocery shopping at Walthamstow..got our ayams, dagings, veges, and other groceries at Asda.. and on Sunday, spent the evening at Hyde Park, on the pretext of jogging, but actuallynye, pergi cari ice-cream...my roomie and I dragged Ita along..Ainor was all bersemangat nak jogging by then, but Ita and I were like, can we just ikut you from belakang?? hehehe..we ended up playing short-distance/range frisbee..one good thing, among others, that comes out of that one month in Leicester, is the free frisbee they gave us new students..oh yeah, and a free condom too, which will remain as a momento for me...my dad saw it tho, when he helped unpacked my stuff in London, err..hope he didn't think much of it.. :p Athirah joined us later, and we just sat on the grass then, stumping each other with our teka-tekis..how i wished i can go back to my old boss with these new teka-tekis i've got..hehhee...wanna make him garu his bald head! Err Dani, i'm referring to En HAmdan yer, not En Ali :p
later, went over to Athirah's for prayers, and dinner, where we cooked sambal ikan bilis, had rendang daging and ikan masak lemak (i think) and soup tulang, with the yummy basmati rice, all while watching Sleepy Hollow...with the yummy Johnny Depp...got home near midnight, and Ita decided to sleep over...
and, unbeknownst to me till the very last minute, i had my last class ever today....*sniff* so sad! but i must be the only one in the class feeling this way..orang lain cam ok jer...even then, my buddy in the class, Coura, wasn't there as she had to work, and i even arrived late! but today is just a revision class, where we discussed answers to the potential exam questions he had set out for us...
i had wanted to try out the local pool tadi...siap beli goggles dah! unfortunately, due to the "weng"-ness of my brain, did not bring enough cash to enter the centre...arrgh! tension je! i thought it would cost only 1 pound, but it costs 3.50! soo mahal, just to swim! baik laa i join my uni's health centre...the only problem to that is that its far from home :p am kinda worried that after i pay the fees, i'd be too malas to go..but then again, the fact that i've paid that amount, should motivate me to go right?? hmm....
btw, Ainor's leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow morning..so jealous!! why can't i have field trips too?? *pouts* then again, after the exorbitant fees they paid for their course, they are entitled to go berjalan-jalan kan...she just got her itinerary today, and it consists of visiting sites, lectures....so best! i have no roomie till sunday! hmm, what mischief can i get myself into till then? hehehe...*devilish grin, while rubbing palms together*
off to bed to dream about delicious things in life! toodles!
