the long silence was due to the "gatal" factor of changing my dissertation topic, hence, requiring me to resubmit a research proposal by 1 p.m. yesterday...and another "gatal"factor of switching subjects, requires me to register, and voila! the lecturer must have some kind of sixth sense and put my name on the list of students (before i could run off, i guess ) presenting their work-in-progress of our individual assessment, which is prolly only 5 minutes in progress, today!!! and me, being me, started on the proposal on monday...well, started constructing it in my head, that is!! finally finishing it by 11.30 a.m yesterday...just in time for me to get ready and rush off to meet my lecturer...but alhamdulillah, its all good...he thinks its FINE...and i think, its oh-so-damn-FYYNEEE!! hehehhehe..i'm much more interested to get started on my dissertation, and my mind is actually clear on where its going..for the first time! yaay! met Tom, looking all fyyne as well , hehehe, who had to run his dissertation through the lecturer..he's going back to Shanghai by the end of March so, he has to get it all done by then....while waiting for my lecturer outside his room, i met a fellow coursemate, (lupe lak his name) from SOuth India, who wanted to see the lecturer as well..we ended up comparing notes on the lectures and all...nice guy..even told me about his dissertation...that's one focused guy..he was doing something on advertisements on tube panels, and to see what kinds of adverts that gets the highest recalls from the public...interesting kan?

anyhoo, my work on my presentation this morning, started at approximately 11 p.m. last night, after ER..hehehe...and my presentation was when? that's right, 10 a.m. this morning! and since i have about an hour to get to school..that leaves me how much time? right again.....NOT MUCH!!! gaahh!!! i haven't started on anything! worked on it until about 5.45 a.m...stopping along the way cuz my pc was all panas, and i haven't prayed...finally crawled back to bed after finishing up the slides...got up at 8.45 p.m...itupun, sebab AInor woke me up by saying, "you bukan ade class ke pagi nie? "..yikes!! by then, my spirits was going down the drain..i was soo convinced that my presentation was shitty and crappy...so, decided to just go through with it...when i arrived in class, i found that i was actually slotted for next week! the lecturer made amendments! woohoo! so, i basically relaxed then on, and decided to add on more stuff to my slides..however, during the break, he found out that only 2 out of 5 students are presenting...errr..and my classmates were going, what?! you're actually presenting today? get it over with! *sigh* and i did...with a pounding heart, shaky fingers, and the usual breakneck speed of speech...i pulled it off...and alhamdulillah...that went well..he even liked some of my points! and i found that my slides are basically about the same length as the other 2...heheheh....yaay! now i don't have to worry about it anymore!

after class, had a little group meeting with my new group..this semester, my groupmates are Kai, this Thai guy, Deborah, a girl from Brazil and Cindy from Ghana...we hve to do a case study on IKEA..and someone suggested a field trip there..hehehe...Kai is comel, so best sikit kerja this sem, haha! but we were all so mamai after class, that the meeting was cut short...i went home, had lunch, then slept till 9 p.m.!! teruknye....makan dinner ngan Ainor (she cooked) when she got back from class...had masak asam ikan salmon, sayur campur and ayam black pepper...yums! finished off ngan B&J's Half-baked ice cream...

my self-confidence is boosted today, as i felt that my classmates have actually acknowledged my presence ( and now, knows my name!! )...as i came in late for the programme ( about a month after it started actually), i've been feeling a little bit insignificant, as everyone knows everyone and they have little chats and jokes around...i'm basically known only to my groupmates..and a few others...haha, that was a first for me! usually, i perasan people know who i am.. :p but today, i had people calling me by my name, saying well-done and all...and as much as i hate to get all inflated, but it felt really nice..it even made up for the fact that i went to school with greasy hair..hehehe....

i'm getting sleepy again...nak tengok Back to Reality..this new reality show with all the ex-reality shows participants yang was carefully chosen...its set in a mansion which is built in a studio..so its basically indoors, but they have natural lighting and all...they even have a road made, and the particiapnts arrived on the first day in a limo, right up to the front door...i'm rooting for Rik, ex- Pop Idol participant and Riccardo, this guy from the Salon...more about reality shows next time..
