Where You Lead
I will follow
Anywhere that you tell me to
If you need-If you need me to be with you
I will follow
Where you lead

- Carole King & Louise Goffin's "Where You Lead I Will Follow" (OST Gilmore Girls) -

i know i should be spending my time fruitfully with my loved ones...i wonder if i did? should i have done more..??

on saturday, woke up early (ye laa tu...) to send my sister to the orthodontist..hung around with her for a while..then went off to Taipan USJ to see my optician cuz my right contacts are blurry (a bit the kelabu)..i dunno why, but my right ones are always damaged first...plus, ever since i've started this fixation of reading other ppl's blogs (with my nose almost touching the screen) it's deteriorating even faster..eeppss!!! and my optician told me to change the right one..but it's gonna cost me almost 3 hundred bucks! sheesh....pastu, i need to get myself a pair of new specs also..but the thing is the whole thing, is probably gonna cost me about 500 bucks! double sheesh....i. am. an. expensive. child. anybody wants to adopt me?

hehehe...then, since both of us haven't had our breakfast yet (we dashed to the ortho ASAP cuz we didn't wanna incur her wrath..yet, again, hehehe)...so, we decided to head out to the KFC in Giant (read: KFC for breakfast; sign of modern times, or partial insanity due to lingering images of succulent chicken and crispy hot&spicy version from the newly-launched ad on tv)..sheesh...hung round till my mom came to do her grocery shopping so we can mooch of stuff from her, heheheh...then went home to have a rest before going out with best buds that night...that means lying round in front of the TV and....zzzzz......

ding, dong...sape pulak tu...turns out the delivery guys with my mom's new furniture is here..so we groggily (my mom had fallen asleep also) told them to arrange the furniture, and watched them polish the wood...hmm, btw, the guy handling the delivery, was this really yummy looking dude whom i had viewed earlier at the shop last week, with white baju Melayu, and specs...he had this serious and intelligent look, with perfect english (!!), while explaining the directions to the delivery lorry guy...methinks he's related to the owner of the shop, who helps around and handles delivery...who would have thought he came over with our furnitures!! ehhehehe...but, scruffily dressed this time in a white pagoda shirt, BUT, with muscular arms he polished our furnitures down...looking all serious...he kinda look Harry Potter-ish.. (betul Nona, serious, u've gotta see this guy for yourself!)...and left us a can of furniture polish, with instructions on how to polish them...*sigh*....hemsemnye....but i think he's still in school tho', looks kinda young...if only....

that night, me and me buds (eileen and the ToTz ) went over to Ampang to Totz's friend's place...we got to know Alin cuz she was afti's good friend in uni, and she's this really, really nice person! so comel pulak tu...it was her birthday, so there was a little bit of makan2...the amazing thing was (well, aside from her house which was really, really nice) was the fact that she baked 2 gorgeous chocolate cakes! siap ade chocolate sauce lagi! absolutely divine baby! and we got our cheesecake too! yums! hung round till about 11.30p.m. with her friends and family, toured round her lovely house, watched blood and gore on Final Destination 2 (urrghh!)..thanks Alin for the really tummy-busting birthday dinner!..and finally, made the long journey home back to Shah Alam..i guess, we're not made of the same stuff as we used to when we were younger, cuz on this sleepover, it was less than 2 hours before 2/3 of us dozed of, leaving Afti to watch "Catch Me If You Can"....

on Sunday, hung out with the Eilmyster at 1-Utama..originally, wanted to go to the new IKEA store, but the crowd was HUGE, that we decided to give it another try sometime, oh, next year..or when our children have childrens..whichever comes first...but it was pouring when we arrive..so, both of us clung to my trusty flowery umbrella, while getting soaked, and Eileen with her white pants giving the world an exclusive preview of her skinny legs (heheh), finally managed to enter the mall....she wanted to look for shoes, so we went from one shoe shop to another..i found gorgeous black boots tho'...i want! i want!..*sigh*...she found what she was looking for, and after a bag of kaya balls and some ice-cream, we head back to her place....saw her newly-renovated home..niceee.....tried on her tudung (don't ask, just nod here..)..landed on her new bed (Zen-ish, Afti) nearly dozing off..then went back around 6 p.m.

To top it all off, my olde friend, Anwar, smsed me asking about me leaving..which reminds me, i have to meet up with my primary school friends la pulak...hmm, maybe this weekend? if they're all not busy with Merdeka weekend plans...we'll just see who'd gonna turn up...

in the meantime...a random survey here...being a self-confessed buta IT chick, who needs a notebook pc in less than a month, i am requesting suggestions from the small pool of general public on what would be good and functional? should i go mainstream and choose compaq or dell? or..what? any suggestions dears? let me know ASAP aiight...thank you!!!!!!!!!
